At VBS this year, we’ll guide kids on the ultimate Alaskan adventure where northern lights glow over majestic mountains, racing rivers, and glistening glaciers. As kids trek the tundra, they’ll explore how easy it is to lose sight of what’s true in our wild world today. Pointing them toward Jesus, True North VBS shows them that he is a faithful friend we can always trust. He’s our True North!

At these Masses, we will offer the Sacrament of the Anointing of the Sick. Anyone who is ill, elderly, preparing to undergo a medical procedure, or seeking the gift of God’s healing is welcome to participate. The parish community is invited to join in prayer for those who are sick and for their caregivers.
St. Mel Stephen Ministers are parishioners who have spent fifty hours in study and training to become spiritual caregivers.
If you find yourself in need of encouragement or companionship due to a personal loss or significant change in your life, we want you to know that you are loved. You are cared for. And your parish is prepared to respond to your need.

Stephen Ministry at St. Mel
Stephen Ministry provides one-to-one care for parishioners going through a crisis or difficult time in life. Trained Stephen Ministers meet with that person on an ongoing basis, offering distinctively Catholic care and support.
