The Little Church program offers children ages 3 through 5 the opportunity to learn about God in a developmentally appropriate way during the 10:00 a.m. Mass. Teen Confirmation

We hope that you can join us on this journey of Confirmation here at St. Mel Parish. If you are a teen going or are already in high school, this is the place for you!

To share a little bit about the Sacrament of Confirmation, it is a preparation process that invites high school-aged youth to receive the sacrament and to deepen his/her faith. This process is grounded in a vision of youth ministry in which the parish community responds to the needs of the youth and encourages them to return to share their unique gifts and talents.

During this two-year process, teens, sponsors, parents and families will journey together in identifying and understanding how God is working in their lives. Candidates will be given many opportunities to embrace their personal relationship with Christ as well as their commitment to the Church. This includes formation, fellowship, worship and youth ministry inspired by Life Teen.

We look forward to an amazing year together, filled with spirit, life and love!

“To be young means to be eager to live; to live joyfully, meaningfully.”
