St. Mel Church is a
Matthew 25 Parish
For I was hungry and you gave me food.
I was thirsty and you gave me drink.
A stranger and you welcomed me.
Naked and you clothed me.
Ill and you cared for me.
In prison and you visited me.
Amen, I say to you,
Whatever you did for one of
these least brothers and sisters of mine,
you did to me.
– Matthew 23:35
Inspired by the words of Jesus in the Gospel of Matthew, Chapter 25, we the family of St. Mel Parish, are in solidarity with the hungry, the naked, the sick, the stranger and the imprisoned.
WE ARE A ‘MATTHEW 25’ PARISH.
Help us put our Faith into action.
“When I look into the eyes of those I serve, I see the eyes of Jesus looking back at me.”
