Comfort and compassion in a time of grief
“Letting go (death) and coming to new life (rising) is process that occupies the center of every ministry. When we experience the physical death of someone close—a spouse, child, parent, or anyone who
is a significant part of our lives— the core of our being and our faith often seems under assault.
Such difficult times become an opportunity for the parish to offer bereavement ministry.”
— Joan Guntzelman.
